More visitors at the Rancho

Here are a few more pictures of our current residents.


A
Junco joins the House Finches on the feeder.









A new visitor is this
Rufous-sided Towhee who hangs around with the Juncos getting seeds on the ground.




These are our two yard birds, "Chicken Little" and "Mazey" getting a drink after a breakfast of cracked corn and mixed bird seed. They also love suet ball snacks. They took up residence here about 4 years ago and we just treat them like all the other birds.





This
Downey Woodpecker is busy hiding seeds and suet in the crevices of the tree trunk for a later treat.







Here is another picture of a
Sandhill Crane, one of the local trio that is wintering here.
